Patsy Cline: The Tragedy of March 5, 1963No, I don't like this topic any more than y'all do, but it's an important part of Patsy's story. This section has quickly become a virtual museum, and I wrestled with myself before posting several of these pages. This section is not for everyone. As a history and museum buff, I am able to look past the macabre angle that frequently offends other fans. But to me, these items have a story to tell. It's important to see artifacts from those who have gone before us, because it reminds us that Patsy was not a god, a caricature, or just a role in a stage show or movie: she was a flesh and blood human being with real substance whose time on this earth was far too short. Nothing can emphasize this lesson better than physical proof of one's existence ~ that's why I love visiting museums so much, and am so disappointed that no museums will offer this experience to Patsifans. So I will offer the next best thing: a cyber museum. |
