From Bob: I had a dream about seeing Patsy in concert, after which I was asked to meet her backstage... boy was I thrilled!!

From Pam Underwood: I have always wanted to make an entry here, but to tell you the truth I never dream about Patsy, even though I love her so much! But I finally had a dream about the Queen of Country. In my dream, Patsy is in the studio with Vince Gill, Merle Haggard and me! Vince is producing her new record and Merle is so excited that Patsy is going to sing his song, "When I Call Your Name" {my favorite Vince Gill song by the way}. When Patsy starts singing it is Vince's voice! If only my mind could have put Patsy's voice in the song.

From Greg W., the Tucson Bender: June 1990 included a local heat wave that wouldn't break. June 26th brought a record high of 117F! Time to evacuate for the cool breezes along the eastern shore of the Gulf of California -- Guaymas, Sonora Mexico. We check into a good cabana within 100 yards of the beach. Life is GOOD! That evening we feast on broiled tiger shrimp and cangrejo (local sea crab), avocado salad and various desserts. Well, it wasn't 45 minutes before I started having a bizarre out-of-body type of experience. It wasn't food poisoning as nobody became "ill." I remember trying to walk back toward the Gulf to enjoy the fresh air. I got disoriented and walked by myself the OTHER direction into the desert. Soon a very elegant lady, who appeared to be Patsy, kept me company and offered me sweet, bright red fruit, just as brilliant as her lips. She had the softest voice with a sweet lilt, yet it was paradoxically robust when the breeze blew. She never would growl like Patsy. :-( Worst of all, she kept stabbing me whenever I tried to get up to get drinking water. The next thing I remember, I woke up in a Guaymas hospital. My upper body was gauze wrapped and medics were working on my upper legs. They claimed they removed more than 1,200 Saguaro cacti spines (needles) out of me that morning! I've planted Saguaro, Cholla, Pincushion and Fishhook Barrel cacti in the backyard. PLEASE come back Patsy!

From Sandra Mount: I dreamed that I recorded Patsy Cline's music and she was singing with me.

From an anonymous Patsifan: I dreamt that a man was sitting outside on a stone fence talking to Patsy and Elvis. I suddenly realized he was trying to make a lucrative deal with them and Patsy wanted nothing to do with it. I was with another woman who was a nun, and Patsy walked over to us, and we understood that she was a spirit and no one else could see her. We took her for a ride in our car around San Francisco, stopping to get some good food and enjoying the fact that no one could see Patsy but the two of us. Patsy started to seem a little sad, so we decided to take her into a music store and show her the rows and rows of Patsy Cline CDs which were displayed. Well, Patsy could not believe it! There she was packaged and re-packaged and selling millions. She was so overcome she started to cry.

From a Patsifan: I dreamed that I was at Patsy's final performance, and I convinced her to take Dottie's offer to drive her to Nashville. (If only this dream had come true.)

From Pat Underwood: I dreamed of seeing Patsy at a fan fair, signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans, and singing onstage there in Nashville.

From Lisa Flood: Loretta Lynn was taking my friend SueBee and I on a tour of Patsy's house, telling us what Patsy used to do in this part of the house or that part, and we were just envisioning it all. She took us to a back bedroom and said that in this room, Patsy had spent a few terrifying moments during a tornado. There had been lots of wind damage in the neighborhood, and Patsy had been unhurt, except for when a curtain whipping around in the wind hit her in the face as she'd tried to close the window. Loretta said it had made Patsy MAD more than it had hurt her! The curtain was still hanging there, and the house itself was treated like a museum ~ no one was allowed to touch anything. But Loretta knew that we were really big fans, so she said, "Okay, just this once!" and she allowed us to reach out and feel the curtain. At the same moment, we saw Patsy's smiling face appear in the window! She was wearing the purple dress I hate so much. But it was like she connected with us as if to just say "Hi!" That's all I can recall. It was really very sweet and comforting, and I could tell that Loretta was fully aware that this would happen if SueBee and I were allowed to touch the curtain!

From MaryAnn Blasby: I've had a couple of dreams featuring Patsy. The one that stands out was me telling her not to get on the plane, then a 'universal' type 'knowing' came across me; that you can't change what happened because of the ramifications... do you know what I mean?

From Shannon: I used to have this crazy dream about Patsy and me. I would arrive at the Dyersburg Airport just before she took off that day in March 1963. I would show her the newspaper story of her death and she would decide not to get on the plane, and we would go out for a couple of drinks and become the best of friends and we would tour together in a car.

From Vanessa Prewett: Patsy was still alive and I broke into her house to see her. I thought that no one was home, but Charlie came into the room and found me hiding under the bed! They were so flattered that I would go to such an extreme that I was invited to visit, and got to talk with Patsy. By the way, my husband wakes me up on a regular basis because I'm singing Patsy's songs in my sleep! (This is true)

From Lisa Flood: It was the present time, but I had been hired by Patsy's marketing folks to create an enormous billboard for a major concert she was going to do. I made it look really spectacular, it was 3-D with huge, black interwoven cables surrounding it that looked like black lace when viewed from the road. I was so proud. Patsy came to see it, she was wearing her long, black sequined Vegas dress. She loved the billboard. About that time, a huge windstorm hit and blew it down! We were so dismayed. Then I woke up!

From SueBee: I dreamed this the night of Patsy's 69th Birthday. I owned a mattress belonging to Patsy when she was a child. I'd had this mattress for several years, having acquired it from my grandmother, who used to babysit for Patsy's family once in awhile. I was now in the process of moving out of my apartment and somehow, an incredibly annoying man who said he was a huge Patsifan and collector of Patsy memorabilia found out that I owned THE mattress Patsy had slept on in her youth. He kept calling me on the phone, sending me letters and e-mail, and following me around town, pleading with me to sell it to him. I would not. Finally, moving day came and of course, there he was badgering me once again. I tried to duck him but he waited patiently, and finally approached me as I walked on the cement sidewalk leading from the apartment building. I assume that out of sheer desperation, as a last ditch effort, he offered me an outlandish sum of money for it ~ money that I really, really needed! But, I told him in no uncertain terms that I wasn't parting with Patsy's mattress for all the money in the world. I told him that I would personally see to it that someday soon this mattress would be on display for all of Patsy's fans to touch. He left in a huff! I took a deep breath and then looked up at the sky. Sitting on a cloud I saw Patsy dressed in red slacks and sweater ~ she winked and gave me big thumbs-up!!

From John Schroeder: I have absolutely no idea what this dream means, but I have had the dream twice. I dreamt that Patsy was a contestant on "The Price is Right!" And she wins a new car!! In the dream she is wearing the gold dress that she wore for the photo shoot for what was to be the Faded Love album. It is a strange dream because it has nothing to do with her singing or performing, and I do not watch "The Price is Right!" As a side note, I do believe Patsy did appear on a game show once... I cannot recall the name of it, but it starred Groucho Marx. Thanks for taking the time to read about my Patsy dream!

From "Anonymous Patsifan": I had a dream that I was at one of Patsy's concerts. She was singing "Crazy," her voice was soo mesmerizing that it will forever be engraved in my memory. Her voice didn't sound the same as it did in the album, her voice in my dream was something else. She has an amazing voice, but in my dream it was 10x's more beautiful.

From Lisa Flood: In this dream, Patsy emphatically told me that some man has a very important audiotape of one of her shows and she is furious that he is keeping it to himself. Wish I had more information, ha! All I know is that she desperately wanted us all to hear it.

From Dustin Evans: I dreamed that Patsy Cline was looking over me one night, and we went and saw Loretta Lynn together. Both of them were so sweet ~ I could almost reach out and touch her.

From Anonymous: I dreamt that she did not get killed and lived on to be the greatest country singer of all time....

From Joe: I'm a singer, and I've dreamed that she and I wrote a song together, went into the studio and then pitched it to Owen Bradley. He heard, loved it, and decided she should record it as a duet...WITH ME!!!! We sing the song in harmony perfectly, and in ONE TAKE! Then the dream takes me to 2 months later when I hear of her death on the radio, and that's when I wake up. I've written some of my best songs during such dreams....

From Meade Skelton: I had a dream and Patsy Cline and some other dead singers were in it ~ Elvis, Jim Reeves, and for some reason Elton John. Anyhow, Patsy spoke for the rest of the group and told me she and they knew how much I wanted to make it in music. She told me not to disappoint her ~ to keep on singing and playing. She said if I gave a lot of my time and talent to other folks, they'll give it right back. I'm so glad Patsy Cline was in my dream because she really was a comfort. I wonder if somehow she communicated to me from the spirit world. She also told me not to give up on romance, because I'd meet a nice pretty gal someday and would be wed. Thanks Patsy !

From Tiffany: I dreamt that my deceased grandmother Enda Pauline was singing to me through Patsy's wonderful, beautiful-sounding voice, and she and my grandfather Walter Earl where hovering over me and my love.

From Lisa Flood: Very real Patsy dream. First of all, I was hospitalized briefly for some minor procedure of some kind and met Patsy's daughter during my stay. She was very kind. Then upon my release, I saw a newspaper "breaking news" story that Patsy was involved in a fender-bender. I turned on CNN for more and heard Patsy's voice on the phone to a CNN reporter, and she was pretty steamed, and it turned out that the fender-bender was still halting traffic because the cops were not responding quickly enough. I took the opportunity to dash out in my car to see it for myself. I managed to get a parking space close by, and it was then that I saw my Patsifan pals SueBee and Bill Cox, who had also driven to the site for a closer inspection. It was a huge news story, because she had been in seclusion/retirement for years and we wanted to see her. Next thing I knew, I saw Patsy from behind. She had some grey in her hair, but not much and was wearing a black Chinese silk coat with red leaves embroidered on it. It was amazing to hear her speaking voice as she was having a heated exchange with another driver. I didn't feel like it was the best time to talk to Patsy, but when else would I have another chance? I looked at Bill and SueBee, they were both smiling and nodding at me to "go ahead," so I took the bull by the horns, stuck my hand out, and introduced myself to Patsy. She whipped around and shook my hand as I told her my name and I asked if perhaps she was familiar with my website. At first she was going to bite my head off, as she was in no mood for fan-related activities, but she then smiled and said that she knew all about the site, then we chatted for awhile. It was so natural and real, and we ended up being great pals. After the police cleared the traffic jam, Patsy decided to thank the town for its patience and she sang at a town picnic that night. I remember looking over at SueBee and Bill in the crowd and yelling, "Hey, gang: PATSY CLINE IS SINGING FOR US, can y'all believe it????" They were in as much disbelief as I was. I made a mental note to myself to tell Patsy to thank her daughter for her kindness during my hospitalization.

From "Anonymous:" I got to play Patsy in a play (this is true), but I dreamt that she is so impressed that she thanks me by singing with me onstage.

From a Patsifan: I was singing "Crazy" and "I Fall To Pieces" with Patsy to a guy I like. It is ironic because the two songs we were singing describe how I feel about this guy.
