More Crazy Dreams

From Cath Simpson: I sort of have dreams about PC... there is a recurring one which is a bit strange.  I'm in Winchester, looking for her houses and her grave, but can't find them.  Then I realize it's because it's the 1950's and she is still alive!  I usually wake up then, so I don't know what happens after that!

Twinkling Stars

From Patsy Walen:  Well, I don't remember too much, but I'll try to explain it. I was with Patsy, Jan Howard and Harlan Howard, co-writer of "I Fall To Pieces."  They were talking about how Patsy didn't want to record "I Fall To Pieces" and that so many other vocalists had turned it down. Everyone was laughing, just kicking back and having a good ole time. Don't remember Patsy saying much, she was smiling, laughing and happy as ever. Then she told us all about her new album that was coming out. She didn't give an album title, a list of the songs, or anything. And I remember her saying that Harlan wrote some new songs for this new album. They sang them to me and I just fell over. She sounded so beautiful. And the funny thing about it was, she hasn't aged a bit!

Twinkling Stars

From Lisa Flood:  A brief but interesting snippet.  I'm watching Patsy on TV and she has come onstage to sing.  On the stage behind her, her name is emblazoned in huge neon-light letters 8 feet high.  Then the host asks her what her name is, and she looks at him like he's the biggest fool she's ever seen, and the studio audience laughs.

See You in My Dreams!

From Guy Cesario:  I only remember some of the details, but it went like this. It was in my own house, I was seated at the head of the dinner table and the table was full of guests, with an empty chair directly on my left and right. Everyone was having a good time. I can't remember who any of the people were that were seated at the table. All of a sudden Patsy and Charlie entered the room and started going around the table greeting everyone -- everyone seemed to know everyone.  Her presence literally lit up the room, she had that wonderful smile and was laughing and talking with everyone and hugging and greeting everyone. She got to me last, gave me a big hug and said "You're so sweet." Again, she was so radiant, so real -- she looked very young, like in the picture from the picture disk. I had the impression that I was meeting her for the very first time, but that she somehow knew me very well. The next thing I remember is that everyone was gone except Patsy and Charlie, and the three of us were sitting in my living room chatting. The only part of the conversation I recall is asking Patsy if she had ever seen my website -- I don't recall her answer or even if she answered, just a big smile. Then I remember going to the kitchen to get some beer from the refrigerator and was dismayed to find only a single bottle of beer there. My wife was in the kitchen, and I told her "We only have one bottle of beer -- can you send Tom (my son) to get more?" My wife said, "Give Patsy the beer, I'll bring Charlie a cup of coffee." When I walked back into the living room, Patsy was looking at a magazine article about herself, still smiling. After that I woke up!

Twinkling Stars

From Sean C. S.:  Well, it's kinda boring.   Nothin special, really.  But it means alot to me, because it's the only dream I've had of Patsy.  She was in a black dress with a black shawl.  She seemed really happy that she was about to get up onstage.  I know I spoke to her, and she was so nice.  Anyway, I woke up saying, "Finally I dreamed of her.... finally!":)  This was a tiny dream come true for me, because I have been a big fan for about fifteen years!

Twinkling Stars

From Lisa Flood:  Lots of Patsy activity here. Two parts that stand out in my mind: in the dream, I’m working on a neat new page for my website, and I have a morphing program. Patsy comes up and stands behind me to watch what I’m doing. She’s wearing a pale jade lace dress. I say, "Looky here, Pats," and I bring up onto the screen a picture of Pats during a weightier time, and I magically morph it down to a very slender size. She says, "Hey, I like that! But can you do that without making my tits disappear?" So we spend time goofing around with it and laughing. Then Patsy is making a music video for CMT and I’m watching them shoot it. The song is either "Stop, Look and Listen" or "Shake, Rattle and Roll" ~ they sound so similar. We’re in a neighborhood setting on a sunny day, the cameras are rolling, and Patsy, in full cowgirl regalia, is dancing down the sidewalk, singing, snapping her fingers, then she suddenly stops and says to the director, "Hoss, I just can’t do this, I feel like such an idiot!" Everyone begs her to continue, though, because she’s doing great!
